The India Association of North Texas (IANT) is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organization, established in 1962 and incorporated in 1976. Its primary purpose is to serve the cultural and educational needs of the North Texas Indian community. IANT is an approved Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) umbrella organization in the DFW Area by the National Federation of Indian Associations.

IANT’s vision has been to serve our Indian community. For the past 60 years we have increased the footprint of people of Indian origin through various community programs across disciplines. Be a part of our journey in collectively making a difference!

Greetings to all and wishing you a very Happy 75th Republic Day of India!

On behalf of the 2024 team of the India Association of North Texas (IANT), I wish you and your family a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

The main celebration of Republic Day takes place in the capital, New Delhi, featuring a grand parade that showcases the strength of the country's military, its cultural diversity, and its remarkable achievements, culminating in the unfurling of the national flag by the President of India.

India Day 2024 hosted by IANT on January 27th, provides a platform for the community to celebrate the diversity, cultural heritage, and spirit of unity that binds our nation, serving as a showcase for sharing these common values with our neighbors and friends in North Texas.

India Association of North Texas was established in 1962 by S. Iqbal Singh Sekhon, with the aim of providing a platform to our community to fulfill its needs and goals of cultural and social engagement.

Radio Bharati

IANT’s Radio Bharati has been on the air in the North Texas area since 1999. The show is hosted by Shabnam Modgil and IANT office bearers and directors and is broadcast every Saturday from 10am to 12pm on Radio Caravan 700 AM | 104.1 FM | 94.5 FM. Ths show formatted to broadcast a lively mix of music, and announcments of upcoming IANT and community activities, news and entertainment.
